Corsican villages don't have many parks. usually they have town squares where the locals play boule or just hang out. i'm not sure why Patrimonio doesn't have a square, perhaps because it's too spread out on the side of a mountain. what we do have is a "park" of sorts. this is the area where they put on concerts and have the big week-long international guitar festival. the next event that will be held there will probably be at the beginning of November when they have the festival for the new wine.
i take Ayva here often for little picnics and to just have an open space where she can enjoy the outdoors. plus it's just up the road from us. too bad they don't have any swings or slides.
